Job Overview

We are seeking a Frontend Developer to join our engineering team at Medius as we undertake a major migration of our web application from AngularJS to React. This is a high-impact technical role that aims to modernize our web app while maintaining the existing user interfaces and ensuring high standards of performance and scalability.

You will work with a team of experienced engineers who value clean and maintainable code, approach technical challenges with clarity and long-term impact in mind.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Migrate and refactor the legacy codebase into modern, reusable React components.
• Collaborate with the team to define and apply migration strategies that balance speed, stability, and quality.
• Continuously improve our development tooling, architecture, and engineering practices.
• Identify risks, dependencies and technical tradeoffs to make impact-aware decisions.
• Participate in technical design discussions to help shape the future of our stack.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the team.
• Participate throughout the entire development cycle, from ideation through deployment and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in frontend engineering fundamentals, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Good understanding of React and TypeScript.
• A thoughtful and analytical mindset by considering the broader impact of every change.
• Quality-focused mindset and strong attention to UI/UX.
• Familiarity with performance optimization, accessibility and design systems.
• Excellent understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent familiarity with Git and NPM.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
