We’re seeking an experienced Kronos Analyst to join our Pay Accuracy Program, focused on ensuring every employee is paid accurately, on time, every time! In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant quality assurance across a workforce covered by over 100 Enterprise Agreements. Working closely with payroll experts, you’ll analyse pay and leave data, validate it against Enterprise Agreement entitlements, and identify any discrepancies. Where required, you’ll provide insights and recommend process improvements to strengthen compliance and enhance future payroll accuracy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide insight and analysis around Time & Attendance data to ascertain accuracy of employee pay against Enterprise Agreement rules.   
  • Work with the Data and Analytics team to ensure that pay modelling is accurate and reflects what has been paid to employees
  • Ensure compliance with industrial instruments, relevant payroll legislation, and EA provisions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of payroll & Time and Attendance queries and issues
  • Identify and document a list of potential solutions and gain agreement from key stakeholders
  • Document any potential risks and /or solutions associated with improving the current Time & Leave processes and system
  • Support operational business units with solutions that make it easier for users to meet EA pay rules 
  • Review processes regularly, recommending and implementing efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information.

 

About You


You’re an experienced Time & Attendance professional who thrives in complex environments and has an excellent understanding of Time & Attendance, payroll systems, legislation, and stakeholder engagement. You will bring:

  • Experience with Time & Attendance systems essential.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory payroll requirements, employee timekeeping systems and working with payroll team to ensure accuracy of pay.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret awards, EBAs, and industrial instruments and apply these to time keeping systems
  • Extensive previous experience with complex large organizational time keeping systems and compliance projects preferred.
  • Previous experience of working with data models and processes relating to payroll and time & attendance systems 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks  
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, collaborating across boundaries with the ability to influence and challenge effectively 
  • Strong capability in using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
  • Strong time management, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
