- Balance Health, the nation’s premier comprehensive lower-extremity focused Physician Practice is seeking a Reginal VP of Western Operations. Under the direction of the COO, this VP will act as a senior leader in the Company responsible for overseeing the daily functions, strategic initiatives to ensure efficient, high-quality, and patient-centered care delivery for operations throughout the Western Region including the financial performance. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, P&L, improving operational efficiency through continuous improvement processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading diverse teams, and fostering collaboration with physicians and team members, ensuring effective communication to drive the practice's growth and patient satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCITONS:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance practice efficiencies, growth, and alignment with business goals.
- Manage daily operations across clinics to ensure high standards of patient care, service delivery, and overall operational efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, leadership, and staff to foster collaboration, enhance patient experience, and improve patient access.
- Oversee P&L and budgets while optimizing resource allocation, and driving financial performance to support the financial health of the practices.
- Lead initiatives to elevate patient care standards and improve operational practices through continuous improvement processes.
- Ensure practices comply with all relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
- Successfully motivate and lead diverse clinical and administrative teams, promoting professional development, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Demonstrate a collaborative demeanor as working closely with team members and other departments is needed to ensure ongoing smooth operations.
- Further supports practice functions by assessing and presenting issues and concerns timely as well as providing recommendations for ongoing improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS: [Education, Training, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Expected Behaviors]
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare management, business administration, or related field with an MBA in business administration or healthcare management highly preferred.
- 5+ years applicable senior leadership experience in a healthcare setting, with a significant portion in management.
- Experience with and good working knowledge in managing P&L for the region.
- Meticulous with strong leadership, strategic planning, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential for success in this role.
- Requires initiative-taking mindset with the foresight to identify issues before they occur and present corrective alternatives.
- Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary to ensure all parties are informed and work in concert with each other.
- Must demonstrate highly ethical behavior and good judgment including the ability to always maintain the utmost confidentiality.
- Ability to ensure accurate, timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
- Flexible with the ability to successfully manage ever-changing priorities, as necessary.
- Ability to build rapport and interact with personnel at all levels within the Company and with vendors and business partners outside the Company.

- Ability to travel up to 25% to various regional locations and other management meetings on occasion.
- Highly PC Proficient with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, database systems, finance databases, lease software, including report generation.
- Proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to successfully pass an in-depth background investigation, including credit check and with a clean DMV report.
Desired:
Multi-state experience successfully managing various medical practice locations.
or any combination of academic education, professional training, and development along with applied work experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
Compensation / Benefits:
- Competitive salary of $150,000 - $175,000 annually (depending on applicable experience)
- Benefit eligibility for FT employees working 30+ hours weekly begins first of the month following 30 days of employment.
