Job Opportunity: Material Quote Analyst

Reports to: Senior Supply Chain Manager

Job Location: Brooksville, FL

Hours/Days of Position:  Monday-Friday- 3 days in the office, 2 days Work from Home.  


At Spartronics, the Materials Quote Analyst plays a crucial role in developing accurate, competitive, and detailed material quotes for new bid proposals in the aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial industries for existing customers in Brooksville.


 What a Day Looks Like:    

  • Analyze and quote materials using customer-provided data inputs, including Bills of Materials (BOM), approved manufacturer lists, custom design specifications, testing requirements, and scope of work data packages.
  • Review customer drawings/prints to determine and capture additional requirements related to quote details or costs.
  • Organize technical data packages to communicate effectively with outside suppliers.
  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors to secure best pricing and delivery lead times through RFQs via quoting software, email and phone.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external suppliers to extract accurate data and information in a timely manner.
  • Create and utilize spreadsheets for providing customers with finalized and detailed materials pricing reports.
  • Maintain manufacturer, commodity and pricing tables in quoting software for accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

  

What You’ll Need to Bring:


Education- 

  • Bachelor's degree required (any field).

Experience-

  • 3+ years of experience in electronics purchasing or contract manufacturing, particularly in purchasing, supply chain, and/or electronics component distribution.
  • Experience with quoting software such as QuoteWin, Silicon Expert, or CalcuQuote.
  • Previous experience in aerospace and defense industries.
  • Knowledge of SMT manufacturing environment.

Skills-

  • Microsoft Excel skills (must-have).
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding customer Bills of Materials, Drawings/Blueprints, Electronic Data, and Specifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with problem-solving and analytical aptitude.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • US Citizenship (due to security clearance requirements).
  • Due to ITAR regulations you must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Green Card Holder. We can not provide Visa sponsorships.
