About the Role:

The role of the Logistics Manager is aimed to lead and optimize logistics operations across Southeast Asia (SEA). Based in Singapore, the role is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics activities including deployment, transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, and distributor coordination. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product availability, quality, and cost efficiency across the SEA Cluster. The role works closely with the Customer Service, Planning, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Sales teams, supporting them by ensuring the right stock, shelf life, quantity, and timing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute SEA logistics strategy, ensuring optimal network resources to support business needs
  • Lead warehousing strategy and tender process to implement a unified solution that minimizes risk and enhances operational efficiency
  • Define import strategy and manage 3PLs, agents, and vendors to improve shipping performance and business value
  • Co-lead cost-to-serve reviews with Customer Service; establish KPIs and reporting for functional governance
  • Oversee logistics costs and KPIs to align with budget targets, including warehousing, import, distribution, and 3PL-related expenses
  • Manage credit/debit transactions with distributors and vendors, covering both commercial and logistics-related compensations
  • Control forward and reverse billing processes for distributors and customers
  • Monitor vendor costs for compliance; provide regular summary reports to support decision-making
  • Analyze budget overspend, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies, collaborating with distributors on inbound/outbound improvements
  • Conduct periodic business reviews and performance assessments with key vendors and 3PL partners
  • Support annual supply chain budgeting and seasonal reviews
  • Ensure logistics processes comply with Group guidelines (e.g., Inventory Counts, FEFO/FIFO, Returns, Destructions)
  • Manage 3PL performance, including KPIs, reviews, and cost control
  • Ensure stock consistency at batch level through effective inbound, storage, handling, and outbound processes
  • Coordinate repacking activities with 3PLs to ensure timely execution
  • Oversee stock deployment from plant to market, optimizing transport efficiency
  • Ensure functionality of logistics IT tools; manage system improvements, tickets, and EDI integration
  • Supervise order flow for LRD market, ensuring efficient import/export operations
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure partner compliance with Group Quality and Safety standards
  • Set internal targets for continuous improvement using benchmarking and creative problem-solving
  • Monitor and improve KPIs and cost efficiency across internal and external teams
  • Foster team development through coaching, training plans, growth and development initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to focus on value-added activities, provide necessary tools and resources to support team performance

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree in Supply Chain or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations, including third-party logistics (3PL), distributor management, direct market operations, transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Proven experience in cold chain logistics
  • Experience working in multi-SKU environments such as manufacturing, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), with exposure to multi-country operations
  • Strong understanding of customs clearance processes, free trade agreements, and import/export regulations
  • Advanced proficiency in logistics and supply chain systems, including reporting methodologies
  • Solid understanding of customer service, planning, and KPI management
  • Demonstrated ability in project management and data analysis
  • Adaptability and proactiveness in responding to business changes, with a flexible and timely approach to action
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with commercial acumen and the ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization
  • Collaborative and creative problem-solving mindset, with a focus on innovation
