Position Overview: The Marketing Project Manager will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and overseeing marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness and customer engagement. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Accountabilities:

  • Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead marketing projects with a clear focus on achieving objectives by delivering them on time, within scope, and on budget. Develop detailed project plans, set timelines, and manage risks to ensure seamless execution.
  • Campaign Development & Execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement integrated marketing campaigns, including promotions, events, and digital strategies. Ensure that campaigns are aligned with overall project goals and business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact between marketing, category management, operations, and IT. Facilitate effective communication to align marketing efforts with business needs and drive cohesive, cross-departmental project execution.
  • Market Research & Strategic Insight: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Use data-driven insights to inform project direction and refine marketing strategies to meet evolving business needs.
  • Performance Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Track and assess campaign performance metrics against project goals. Provide detailed reports and actionable recommendations for future optimization and improvements, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Assist in managing the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources. Monitor project-related expenses to stay within budget, and adjust resources as necessary for cost-effective project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Alignment: Maintain transparent and proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout project lifecycles. Ensure that all parties are informed, aligned, and involved at appropriate project stages to mitigate risks and maintain momentum.
  • Content Oversight & Brand Consistency: Oversee the development of marketing assets, including advertisements, social media content, and in-store signage. Ensure all materials align with the brand vision and meet project deliverables.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management or equivalent experience required.
  • Proficient in proofreading with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Adobe Creative Suite skills preferred.
  • Able to learn and use a variety of software applications and technology.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills. 
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment where time-sensitive processes may contribute to elevated levels of stress.
