A day in the life of an Associate - U.S. Advisory:
- Participate with senior-managers, vice-presidents and partners on buy and sell side cross-border transactions.
- Assist on cross-border corporate and high-net-worth individual personal tax planning.
- Research U.S. tax issues, interpret and apply tax legislation.
- Research and interpret international tax treaty.
- Review/prepare U.S. corporate, partnership, trust, individual federal and state tax returns.
- Participate in regular training session with all team’s member and provide junior team members with training session.
What we are looking for:
- Approximately 3 – 6 years of relevant experience either in tax advisory and or tax compliance
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
- Ability to manage several projects at the same time and tight deadlines
- Intellectual curiosity and creativity
- Flexibility and availability
- Good judgment
- Open-mindedness applied to continuous learning
- Strong team spirit and ability to work with others
- Strong sense of client service and professionalism
- Master in Tax designation
- US CPA and or Canadian CPA designation
- EA designation.
