Job Description
What will you be doing?
We're seeking a talented individual to join our Incentives and Reliefs team in our Manchester office.
You will be working with businesses of all shapes and sizes, helping them to obtain tax relief for their scientific and creative endeavours so they can continue to invest in these important activities. This will involve gathering technical information on cutting-edge innovations across a broad range of industries, preparing tax relief calculations, and writing technical reports. All necessary training will be provided.
Through this role, you will gain a broad range of industry knowledge and professional skills, as well as build relationships with your team, S&W Partners, and clients. You will also develop technical tax and accounting skills as we support you through your chartered professional exams.
Your key tasks and responsibilities:
- Support the Incentives and Reliefs Team in preparing tax relief claims for clients around the UK operating in a broad range of industries.
- Attend client meetings, prepare technical reports, and tax relief calculations.
- Update internal systems with progress of workflow.
- Study for professional exams and develop tax technical knowledge/ skills.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in English and Mathematics
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken with the ability to liaise with a variety of clients and stakeholders at all levels
- Organised and able to work to deadlines
