We’ve already made a significant impact in the NHS. Through our partnership with Accurx, we’ve brought Tandem’s AI-powered medical scribe to 200,000 NHS staff across England — streamlining documentation and freeing clinicians to focus on patient care. Now, we’re leveraging this momentum to accelerate our growth in the private healthcare market.

About the Role

We’re looking for a former medical doctor or clinician to join us as a Commercial Partnerships Manager and lead growth across the private healthcare sector in the UK.

This role is designed for someone who understands clinical workflows deeply and is now looking to transition into a commercial role in health-tech. You’ll introduce Tandem’s clinician copilot to leading private healthcare providers, working closely with stakeholders across primary, secondary, and tertiary care.

This is not about building connections in the NHS. Instead, you’ll leverage our strong NHS presence and proven success to build credibility and accelerate adoption in the private healthcare ecosystem - forging partnerships with hospitals, specialist clinics, pharmacy groups, dental chains, and physiotherapy networks.

What you will do

  • Identify, initiate, and manage strategic relationships with top private healthcare providers across the UK

  • Use Tandem’s trusted NHS footprint and the Accurx partnership to build credibility and open doors in the private market

  • Pitch, negotiate, and close high-value partnerships that deliver strategic impact, working closely with legal, product, and commercial teams to get contracts across the line

  • Represent Tandem at meetings, conferences, and industry events, positioning us as a trusted leader in digital health innovation

  • Act as the voice of our private healthcare partners, bringing insights, feedback, and requirements directly into our product and engineering teams to shape the roadmap

  • Bring market insights back into Tandem to inform product development, regulatory priorities, and go-to-market plans

  • Help build the customer success infrastructure that ensures our partners thrive with Tandem

What You Bring

  • Deep understanding of the private healthcare ecosystem in the UK, including primary, secondary, and tertiary care providers

  • Expertise or strong networks in at least one of the following areas: private pharmacy, dentistry, or physiotherapy

  • Proven SaaS sales experience with a strong track record of closing strategic partnerships in private healthcare

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across private hospitals, clinics, and care networks

  • Confidence in commercial negotiations and experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder deals

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage clinical, commercial, and technical audiences

  • An independent operator who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment

  • A genuine passion for improving healthcare delivery through innovation

Bonus Points

  • AI experience and credibility - whether through working with AI-powered products, prompt engineering, or collaborating on AI model development

  • Experience working with or selling into EHR providers, private health systems, or digital care platforms

  • Background in digital health, med-tech, or regulated SaaS

  • Familiarity with UK private healthcare regulations and compliance frameworks

  • Experience scaling products in startup or high-growth environments


Location

We believe great ideas thrive when we connect in person. This is a full-time role based in London. There will be occasional travel to meet clinicians across the UK and to collaborate with the core teams across Europe.
