ING Netherlands is looking for a passionate and inspiring Chapter Lead Architect, your background is not necessarily important, in the end it is what you are and how you operate. As a chapter lead you will lead a team of Domain and Solution Architects and
contribute to the continuous improvement of your CoE, so that we become better every day than the day before. In your domain, you act as the trusted advisor to all your stakeholders.
Roles and responsibilities
You will be part of the management team of the CoE Architects. As a Chapter Lead Architect, you will be responsible for both architecture delivery at Enterprise Architecture level as well as looking after the chapter members and ensuring their growth.
As a Chapter Lead you are responsible for mentoring and coaching, performance management, ensuring ongoing development of hard and soft skills, and motivating the architects in your chapter, which will consist of 7 architects on average.
As an Architect you will define and maintain the end-to-end architecture design for your domain. Work together in a small team of architects, led by one of our
enterprise architects. For your domain you collaborate with the architects, business colleagues, and IT managers to create and communicate the architecture results. You will apply the architectural principles and architectural governance in your designs.

collaboration with others to co-create architecture (workshops, guiding,
constraining, selling, telling).
• Communicate – You have strong communication skills both verbal and written, in English.
