What can you expect in a “Director, Commercial Contracts Management ” role with TaskUs:

TaskUs is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Director, Commercial Contracts Management. The primary responsibility of this role is to negotiate service agreements with TaskUs’ clients.  This role will support the TaskUs Legal Department’s objective of partnering with Sales, Client Service, and all functional support teams to grow TaskUs’ business quickly. 

The Director, Commercial Contracts Will:

  • Draft and negotiate Master Service Agreements and related agreements with TaskUs’ clients.
  • Use strong interpersonal skills to build positive and lasting relationships with stakeholders
  • Apply strong analytical skills and an ability to problem solve to resolve complex legal issues.
  • Work with a sense of urgency to complete all assignments
  • Be accountable for identifying, analyzing and evaluating risks to provide appropriate solutions
  • Have excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate leadership and seek continuous process improvement
  • Contribute to the development of contracting best practices across a large global enterprise
  • Collaborate effectively with our legal, finance, operations, sales, IT, client services and security teams 
  • Collaborate with outside counsel to complete contracts in multiple international locations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • 10+ years of relevant legal experience in a business process outsourcing environment, Fortune 500 company or elite law firm
  • A law degree from an accredited law school in your country
  • Ability to work unconventional hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed to support global team objectives and to meet urgent business needs
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating multiple complex commercial agreements, including business process outsourcing, consulting, crowdsourcing agreements, and technology agreements 
  • Emotional Intelligence

  • Attention To Detail

  • Skill in negotiating agreements directly with clients without extensive oversight
  • Experience with intellectual property, licensing, data privacy, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience working with outside counsel 
  • Experience providing timely advice and direction to business leaders
  • Spanish language fluency both verbal and written
  • Experience working with multicultural global teams 
  • Experience with hyper growth companies
