Job Description

What is the role?

Lead a team of Data Business Professionals in delivering on their day-to-day mandate, while developing them to create a foundation of best-in-class data expertise for the future of CDM Evolution and implementation of the PB & CB Data Strategy while increase the overall employee literacy around Data and AI readiness.  Development of key strategic partnerships with enterprise data/technology teams including Chief Data Office, Business Value Office, PB & CB Business and Analytics teams, Risk and T&O will be critical to this role.

What will you do?

  • Lead horizontal data strategy, implementation and monitoring of performance metrics (including creation North Star strategy and metrics).
  • Partner with Executives and OC leaders to drive cross-enterprise strategic initiatives and programs.
  • Chair Data Strategy partner meetings to drive strategic direction and discussion progress on operational activities and strategic initiatives.
  • Increase overall Data & Gen AI Literacy through the oversight of the community of practice to reskill & embed new data/tools across the org
  • Business Liasson across LOB’s, Big Rocks and key strategies for intake & prioritization to remove barriers and identify bold ideas to monetize the value of data across PB & CB
  • Analyze and challenge Data investments and provide recommendations to the Value Office to influence investment decisions
  • Optimization of the App Dev Portfolio to identify opportunities of efficiency through re-use of common components
  • Drive awareness and adoption of new data, tooling and product capabilities and establish standardized productivity metrics and benchmarks to business case and monetize the value of data across PB & CB
  • Establish and build credibility with key stakeholders including executives, team members, business, and functional groups to provide representation that is seen as professional, positive, and creditable.
  • Drive a high performing, team with strong employee engagement.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach to promote a positive work environment and build capacity across multiple disciplines.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • 7+ years proven experience collaborating and advising senior executives while leading and executing strategic projects / programs
  • Proven experience in defining, developing, and executing data and business strategies that align with business goals
  • Hands-on experience with data reporting and analytics, data governance, and leveraging data insights to drive strategy decisions
  • Proven track record in building and leading diverse teams
  • Experience in development of community of practice to reskill & embed new data/tools
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar portfolios, including funding/budget management
  • Demonstrated ability to consult and to lead on complex change management concepts
  • Experience and broad understanding of technology delivery (role does not include technical delivery)

  • Strong problem solving, strategic mindset with a strong understanding of our revenue-generating businesses and financial literacy
