Job Description:
Construction Manager – North Carolina, USA
Role Purpose
Responsible for construction execution from the bidding phase to delivery of a major highway project in North Carolina. This includes coordination of site activities, supervision of segment managers, and management of subcontractors and suppliers. The role ensures delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with Ferrovial’s quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
· Supervise and support Segment Managers and site teams.
· Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project goals.
· Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to schedule and budget.
· Implement Ferrovial’s safety, quality, and environmental protocols.
· Collaborate with the Project Director and other functional leads to resolve issues and optimize performance.
· Provide regular reporting on construction KPIs and milestones, monitoring and minimizing risks.
· Oversee design supervision and optimizations during construction.
· Ensure cost control, procurement, and compliance with environmental regulations.
· Coordinate with stakeholders including local authorities, utility owners, and community organizations.
· Lead public outreach and information sessions in collaboration with project partners.
Required Profile
· Education: Civil Engineering or equivalent. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
· Experience: Minimum 10 years in large-scale infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in highway or toll road construction.
· International Exposure: Experience in international projects is highly valued.
· Skills: Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills. Ability to manage complex logistics and multi-disciplinary teams.
