  About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mid-Level Accountant with a strong background in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for someone with hospitality industry experience in NYC, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving financial performance through data-driven insights. 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and marketing teams to align financial goals with business strategies.
  • Prepare variance analyses and explain deviations from budget and forecast.
  • Assist in the preparation of board presentations, investor reports, and executive summaries.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to hospitality operations (e.g., RevPAR, ADR, occupancy rates).
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
  • Participate in system upgrades and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 3–5 years of accounting and FP&A experience, ideally within the hospitality sector in NYC.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality financial metrics and operational drivers.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
