Global Director IT– Business Area FoodTech

Munters Group operates in three different Business Areas (BA's) - AirTech, DCT and FoodTech. BA Foodtech is, unlike the other business areas, a software-focused company and is now searching for a Global Director IT that will drive the IT strategy and operations. It should be done working with the different IT organizations in the companies within the business area, as well as in cooperation with Group IT.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead the technology strategy and operations for our business area. This role is critical in ensuring our application landscape, infrastructure, and security posture are aligned with business needs and industry best practices. The Global Director IT will be responsible for selecting, developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that drive efficiency, leverage AI-powered technologies, and support our SaaS business model.

The perfect applicant will merge extensive technical knowledge with leadership abilities, guaranteeing that our systems remain secure, advanced, scalable, and adept at handling sensitive internal and external customer information.

Your Opportunity

• Serve as a strategic Global Director IT and partner to the business area FoodTech management team and collaborate with business leaders and product teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Define and manage the overall application strategy for the business area FoodTech, ensuring systems support current and future business needs.
• Evaluate, select, and implement modern, AI-enabled software solutions to optimize efficiency and decision-making.
• Oversee IT-infrastructure with a focus on cloud and Microsoft platform environment, and ensure high system availability, scalability, and performance for SaaS-platforms.
• Lead security strategy and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (GDPR, ISO, NIS2, SOC2, etc.)
• Establish and enforce security standards for infrastructure, applications, and data handling. Safeguard highly sensitive internal and customer data stored in Azure.
• Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff business area FoodTech and foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and accountability.
• manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and service contracts.

Your Experience

• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 7 years in management or leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee IT operations within a SaaS or cloud-native business setting.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
• Deep knowledge of IT security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Experience implementing and managing enterprise applications and AI-driven solutions.
• History of leading initiatives in digital modernization and workflow automation.
• Extensive experience in vendor and project management.
