About The Role

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially driven Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead our activities across the UK and Emerging Markets. This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role, responsible for driving revenue, market share, and long-term business growth through well-executed, data-informed sales and marketing strategies.

You will shape and implement the commercial vision for the region, building alignment across cross-functional teams while navigating complexity and ambiguity. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role is central to our global commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and execute the commercial vision for the UK and Emerging Markets, aligned with global strategy.
  • Lead and develop in-market sales and marketing teams, with clear, transparent planning and delivery measured through OKRs.
  • Drive performance across key metrics including passenger volumes, revenue, yield (intake and departure).
  • Develop and manage sales and marketing strategies to meet growth targets and ensure optimal channel share.
  • Own and manage regional P&L responsibilities, ensuring delivery within budget.
  • Identify and act on new market segments, distribution opportunities, and external partnerships.
  • Represent the brand externally as a senior leader in key industry events, negotiations, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Maintain strong internal collaboration across functions to maximize the strategic impact.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, leadership, and operational excellence.
  • Proactively address market risks, trends, and opportunities with agility and strategic foresight.

Experience And Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or with equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales and/or marketing roles, ideally within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors.
  • Proven leadership at Director level or above, with a track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong background in sales strategy, account management, marketing effectiveness, and negotiation.
  • Proven P&L responsibility and ability to manage complex budgets.
  • Fluency in other European languages is beneficial but not essential.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including with C-level executives.

  • Skilled in data analysis and making insight-led commercial decisions.
  • Deep understanding of relevant market dynamics, including travel regulations such as PTRs.
  • Agile mindset with the ability to navigate and lead through change and uncertainty.
