Are you our new colleague in our M&A Integration & Carve-out team?

PwC M&A Integration & Carve-out is looking for a junior consultant for the fall 2026 starting in August.

The M&A Integration and Carve-out team helps clients to identify the potential of a proposed transaction and to ensure that they realize the full value of the transaction through structured transformation of business operations.

Our projects are often international, and you will have the opportunity to work in teams with experienced consultants and industry experts, giving you exposure to client management teams. Our clients come from a variety of industries, being both large industrial companies and Private Equity firms. In addition, we join forces with PwC Corporate Finance, Management Consulting and Strategy& to offer our clients end-to-end solutions.

In short, we are helping some of the world’s leading companies across industries to originate, create, execute and realize value from their deals.

Our focus areas are primarily:

  • Operational Due diligence (buy-side & sell-side)
  • Synergy assessments
  • Structuring, leading and project managing M&A integrations and separations in connection with company acquisitions or carve-out during divestments
  • Support throughout the process of Initial Public Offering (IPO)

This means that we advise and support our clients throughout the entire deals cycle when they plan, prepare and execute M&A related activities.

Your main tasks as a junior consultant

  • Support in project management of integration and carve-out projects.
  • Produce due diligence reports with an operational and financial perspective.
  • Build data books with operational and financial information.
  • Create presentations for clients and client proposals.

Qualifications for the position

  • Master’s degree in business and economics, engineering or equivalent or a Bachelor’s degree paired with exceptional relevant experience.
  • Great academic results.
  • Up to two years of experience from similar fields/consultancy firms.
  • Experience from work and/or internships besides your studies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Swedish is meriting.
  • Experience from Microsoft Office tools.

  • Worked to some extent at a reputable consulting firm, private equity company, management consultancy firm, investment bank or similar along with your studies.
  • Experience from studies or internships abroad.
