- Provide overall Lean leadership and simplification to key areas of supply chain.
- Responsible for partnering with plant and business leaders to define the key value streams that will have the greatest impact on the business and the customer
- Work with the operating leaders to develop strategic deployment planning as well as specific goals and priorities that drive lean principles and concept across the business
- Serve as a change agent by influencing, communicating and institutionalizing a culture of simplification and standardization
- Coach plant leadership team in the use of Lean tools and the simplification methodology to drive significant business impact
- Improve customer satisfaction and reduce lead time on specific wing to wing processes
- Conduct regular value stream reviews in plant to assure the team drives significant and measurable business impact
- Facilitate different level of Kaizens across the business and get sustainable result to contribute business requirement
- Communicate progress, status and issues to the business leaders
- Seek, share and institutionalize best practices
Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2.Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3.Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Proactively simplify the work instructions, procedures and processes within the value stream to drive continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
Qualifications / Requirements
1. Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college with 8 years+ work experience
2. At least 5+ additional years of experience in a functional business environment.
3. Deep understanding of Lean toolset with proven results
Desired Characteristics
1. Master degree/MBA and 6 sigma black belt preferred
2. Proven leadership skills to coach and lead teams to fully deliver chartered objectives and projects
3. Demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results
4. Strong analytical and quantitative skills
5. Strong English oral and written communication skills
6. Proficient with MS apps, power BI/JMP/AI app. skills preferred
