We are looking for a Research & Development Engineer who will be responsible for interpreting and communicating regulatory requirements to ensure product adherence to necessary industry standards required for certification. You will be directly involved in coordinating the activities of multiple approval agencies. Additionally, you will be involved in the planning and development necessary for agency approval submission for the certification of our products. Interested? Apply today!
Primary responsibilities will include
- Ensure product assessments meet certification and regulatory standards
- Communicate certification requirements across teams
- Interface with certification bodies to maintain product approvals
- Review design changes for compliance with product certificates
- Cooperate with development teams to ensure designs meet regulatory standards
- Assist with audits and approval status reporting
Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education
- Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of industry standards and certification processes
- Experience with:
- Technical report writing
- Electrical testing and equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial machinery regulations
- Robotics and automation systems
- Communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
