We have been serving the Cape and the Torres Strait region for over thirty years and have extensive experience providing air services to remote and communities throughout Queensland. Founded in 1990, the airline has over 200 staff, with head office in Cairns and bases in Brisbane, Townsville, Rockhampton and Horn Island.

About The Role

As the Assistant Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our finance department. Key duties include:

• Processing and reviewing invoice entries
• Generating invoices and managing the month-end process
• Assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Supporting the finance team with general administrative tasks

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Certificate in Accounting or Diploma (or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar finance or accounts role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skill
