Research Engineer

Pi-Cardia is a dynamic medical device startup specializing in cardiovascular innovations. We are dedicated to developing cutting-edge technologies that transform patient care. We are looking for a talented and hands-on Research Engineer to join our team. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-clinical studies to explore new indications for Pi-Cardia products.
• Investigate tissue-device interaction.
• Utilize analytical tools to support bench testing.
• Design bench testing to validate the design, collaborating with the V&V group.
• Design components for the next generation of the product, focusing on the catheter delivery system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering\ Bio-Medical Engineering. 
• Experience of at least 2 years as a mechanical engineer in the medical device industry.
• Hands-on capabilities in testing systems and mechanical aspects.
• Design in SolidWorks.
• Analytical thinking.
• Team player.
• Fast learning.
