SWOT Hospitality, the leading hotel management company, trusted by international investors, developers and top-scale hospitality brands, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced HR Director for the City Hotels to join our Headquarters in Kolonaki, Athens, Greece.
Position Summary
The HR Director will lead the development and execution of the HR strategy across all City Hotels properties. This role requires a highly motivated professional with strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of HR best practices, and the ability to align people strategy with business objectives. The HR Director will play a pivotal role in building a high-performance culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
Responsibilities
· Develop and implement the overall HR strategy aligned with the Group’s vision, mission, and business goals.
· Oversee all HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, and HR Operations.
· Partner with General Managers and Department Heads to identify workforce needs and implement effective staffing solutions.
· Lead initiatives to foster a positive work environment, employee engagement, and strong corporate culture.
· Design and oversee performance management systems to ensure continuous employee development and alignment with organizational objectives.
· Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and corporate policies.
· Develop and monitor HR metrics and analytics to support decision-making.
Requirements
· University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
· Minimum 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a senior HR leadership role within the hospitality or service industry.
· Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies at group or multi-property level.
· Strong knowledge of Greek labor law and international HR practices.
· Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent command of Greek & English (verbal & written).
· Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
