As a SCADA IIoT Engineer, you will be part of our Solutions Department, providing technical support and custom solutions for customers using our SCADA and IIoT products. You will analyze customer requirements, design and implement SCADA applications, and ensure their smooth operation. Your role involves working across industries like power plants, utilities, and manufacturing, helping to automate and optimize industrial processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • SCADA and HMI Development: Design and build SCADA and HMI applications that meet specific customer needs, enhancing the monitoring and control capabilities within industrial processes. 
  • Technical Support: Offer expert technical assistance, addressing and resolving SCADA/HMI issues for customers via remote support and on-site interventions. 
  • Integration: Deploy industrial communication standards (Modbus, MQTT, OPC UA, etc.) to ensure effective integration of SCADA systems with PLCs, RTUs, and related industrial systems. 
  • Documentation: Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, system configurations, and user training guides. 
  • Project Management: Coordinate multiple projects effectively while adhering to deadlines. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 2-3 Years of Experience
  • Proficiency in developing SCADA/HMI applications. 
  • Familiarity with industrial automation and communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, DNP3). 
  • Understanding of both Windows and Linux operating systems. 
  • Basic knowledge of power generation systems (thermal, renewable energy, hybrid). 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to thrive under pressure. 
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken. 
  • Willingness to travel for short-term assignments as required. 
  • Competence in writing technical documentation and specifications. 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SCADA platforms (e.g., InduSoft Web Studio, Wonderware). 
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and process control hardware (HMI, PLCs, Serial Servers). 
  • Proficiency in database configuration and optimization. 
  • Basic programming skills (Python, Java, or C# are beneficial).
