YOUR NEW ROLE

As part of a specialist Quality Engineering team, you will work across all disciplines (Test Automation, Service Virtualization and Quality Analytics), to enable and transform quality practices within the bank’s platform teams.
Innovate with new and existing tools, processes, practices and industrialize them into a regular delivery cycle agnostic of delivery methodology. Identify required resource needs specific to each engagement. Work to define and influence the ongoing QE solution process for all delivery engagements after uplift.
Influence key stake holders in technology from the head of, delivery teams, business analysts, product owners and others in understanding the rationale for your prescribed solution.
Provide estimations of the effort required to implement the software user stories.
Develop test automation scripts to validate the acceptance criteria contained in the user stories.
Participate in Platform code reviews with Developers

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Quality Engineering
Drive an automation let approach for System, Component, SIT and platform integration tests.
Implement & monitor quality metrics including trend analysis of discrepancies and defects; drive investigations into problems and correction actions relating to recurring problems
Experience in strategic development and implementation of Quality Engineering solutions (Automation Frameworks)
Strong coding in JAVA. Experience with API, JSON, and related automation technology solutions.
Experience in Agile Methodology and Test Management tools and techniques.
Technical acumen in Cloud Based technologies with experience with CI/CD and tooling (AWS / Azure/ Jenkins)
Strong Microservice/API testing experience
Exposure to performance testing, Kafka, MQ, Splunk
Exposure to UI automation frameworks like Cypress.
