Description

The Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible candidate to serve as Lead Psychiatrist for a newly established, older adult inpatient unit at Westerly Hospital in Westerly, Rhode Island. Westerly Hospital is part of Lawrence and Memorial Healthcare, which is a Yale New Haven Health affiliate, and is committed to growing psychiatric services in Southern Rhode Island. The successful candidate will join the faculty of the Yale University Department of Psychiatry with an appointment commensurate with experience and accomplishment. This position represents an opportunity to continue the geriatric psychiatry program while contributing to the growth and development of psychiatric services in the region, while working for and being supported by Yale University Department of Psychiatry.

Qualifications

Applicants must be a licensed physician in RI (additional licensure in CT preferred) and be legally employable.
