Roles & Responsibilities

KPMG US Department of Professional Practice (DPP) Audit Learning and Development Group is responsible for implementing PCAOB, AICPA and KPMG’s audit methodology through developing and delivering learning for Audit professionals. US DPP Audit Learning and Development professionals work with leading KPMG-US DPP and other technical experts in a challenging environment where they are exposed to diverse projects which afford the opportunity to expand their technical skills related to PCAOB and AICPA standards, to improve their oral and written communication skills, facilitation skills, project management skills and, to develop their professional relationships across the KPMG network.

Responsibilities:

·Working with learning and development professionals, U.S. subject matter experts and stakeholders from the business ·Drafting/updating of IT audit learning assets (e.g., learning courses and other learning materials) ·Staying on top of and following current developments at the PCAOB and AICPA ·Support strategic learning initiatives, objectives and priorities to drive learning outcomes. ·Support curriculum planning at the project execution level. ·Monitor progress on projects coordinating with others across various L&D groups.

Ensure that the work is planned, organized and performed by self and team by guiding them and performing reviews on deliverables to ensure quality and timely delivery of work with efficiency.

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

IT savvy, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word etc. Should be able to use MS Power Point to create effective presentations Familiarity with IT systems including databases, operating systems, ERPs, and others. Foundational understanding of IT control environments. Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective upward management and cross team communication

Strong project management skills, particularly managing stakeholders’ expectations and proactively communicating issues, solutions and progress, internally and with US  stakeholders.

Driven and enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a strong sense of ownership to get the job done in a pragmatic fashion

This role is for you if you have  the below

Educational Qualifications

CA/CPA/ ACCA (shall hold membership)

Work Experience

2-4 years of post- qualification experience in Big 4 audit practice or professional services firm L&D department, preferably supporting the development of IT or IT Audit training content

Experience in conducting external audits in accordance with PCAOB, AICPA and/or ISA auditing standards, specifically around controls testing including general IT controls and automated controls.
