Liaison with stakeholders:
- Coordinate with Central-level authorities such as Mines, Forests & Environments, and Pollution Control Board in obtaining approvals, aligning efforts with Group Corporate Affairs to streamline processes and expedite decision-making.
- Act as the primary liaison with State-level authorities including Mines, Revenue, Forests & Environments, Finance, Pollution Control Board, and Electricity Boards to secure necessary approvals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating smooth business operations.
- Establish effective communication channels with district magistrate, SDO, DGM, and Police Department to facilitate timely approvals and resolve any regulatory issues that may arise.
Land Acquisition and Statutory Approvals:
- Spearhead land acquisition efforts in collaboration with local/state authorities of forest departments and revenue departments for expansion projects, ensuring adherence to legal procedures and efficient handover of land for mining operations.
- Govern statutory approvals for new mining projects, including CTEs, CTOs, and conducting public hearings for projects, managing documentation processes up to the central level, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Secure state-level approvals for various Adani Group companies, including land ownership transfers, mining permissions, and statutory clearances, while effectively managing issues related to taxation, excise, and VAT.
Relationship Management:
- Develop and execute annual relationship management initiatives with authorities at State and District levels, political parties, and media, aimed at fostering positive partnerships and enhancing the company's reputation and influence.
- Coordinate VIP visits to mine sites, orchestrating seamless experiences to showcase operational excellence and foster positive stakeholder perceptions.
Brand Image Enhancement Crisis Communication:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and English media in Chhattisgarh, Orissa, and Madhya Pradesh, ensuring regular media coverage of mining activities and achievements to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Gather relevant company-related information from Government departments at State and district levels, and monitor vigilance information on agitations and anti-company propaganda, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and protect the company's interests.
- Enhance the Adani Group brand image by articulating CSR initiatives, ethics, and contributions to society and the nation, positioning the organization as a responsible corporate citizen.
- Ensure the training and development of team members to address identified training needs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the Corporate Affairs department.
Digital Integration and Strategic Innovation:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of emerging digital trends and leverage them to optimize corporate communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance processes.
- Utilize advanced digital platforms for data analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and foster innovation across the corporate affairs function.
He should have experience of at least 15-20 years in Corporate Affairs field ,liasioning with key stakeholders, granting of statutory approvals from ministries. Relationship management and Brand Image Enhancement.
