YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You embrace and advocate for the core principles of Product Design ensuring that collaboration, human-centered design, and data-driven decision-making are at the core of everything we do
• You create typical design artefacts such as mid-fi, hi-fi wireframes, and prototypes, driven by the principles of IxD, IA, A11y and UCD
• You drive design strategy across multiple product lines and collaborate directly with key stakeholders and executives
• You mentor junior designers and establish strong design principles that will help us to build consistent and exciting products
• You champion design systems and maintain consistency across our global product ecosystem
• You find the most efficient trade-off between high-value solutions for users

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience You have spent several years in UX/UI Design, specializing in B2C digital products, and have gained first experience in a leadership role. You are confident in driving design strategy from start to finish, managing multiple complex projects at once, and mentoring junior team members along the way
• Portfolio Your portfolio showcases large-scale, high-impact projects that demonstrate both exceptional visual design skills and your ability to solve complex business problems through strategic design thinking. 
• Personal qualities You are a collaborative design leader who can guide and mentor junior team members while working effectively with executives and key stakeholders. You are open to different perspectives and can facilitate difficult conversations and drive consensus across diverse teams
• Strategic Mindset You are business-savvy and results-driven, with the ability to translate business objectives into design strategy. You are a continuous learner who stays ahead of industry trends and can advocate for design's value at the executive level, always striving to drive measurable business impact
• Approach You are a strategic problem-solver who can identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities independently. You have experience building and scaling design systems and can balance user needs with business constraints in complex, ambiguous situations
• Communication You have exceptional English communication skills and can confidently present to executive leadership, facilitate workshops, and influence product strategy. You can translate complex design concepts for non-design stakeholders and build alignment across organizations
