You will work within an established Data Management Centre of excellence team based in India Mumbai working within the Chief data officer function. The team is responsible for supporting a broad range of data initiatives where you will apply Master Data expertise to proactively maintain and improve data quality for the benefit of Capita.

Senior Executive - Finance

Job Description:

Responsible for delivering master data maintenance and data governance activities for the Capita business.
Ensure timely setup of key master data in SAP for Finance Master Data.
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of master data across the organisation. With a focus on addressing data quality issues.
Ensure all data is handled securely and in compliance with Capita’s policies and data protection regulations.
Verifying data values against the required process documentation or from authorised and approved sources.
Merging existing duplicate records into one master record where required.
Performing root cause analysis to assess the nature and cause of defects to current processes and data failures, recommending proactive fixes.
Support and input to the development of Master Data quality standards with the data quality team.
Support data quality improvement initiatives to deliver improved data quality for Capita.
Continuously strive to improve process by analysing and removing redundant aspects, leveraging technology where it would add value to the business processes being managed and removing manual intervention.
Support new data initiatives, system implementation or upgrades, introduction of new tooling as required.
Maintaining Control Evidence available for compliance purposes.
Support Audit process when required.
Business Partnering to deal with specific requests or issues with Data in scope.
Escalating any issues to the Master Data Lead and Data Management Operations Manager.
Responsible for meeting the agreed KPI’s, SLA’s and OLA’s agreed for the service in scope.
Contribute to the regular update and refresh of process documentation, standards, principles, to ensure clean and well-understood data.
