As a Transaction Correction Specialist, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Rzeszów.
About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:
- Receiving, handling, and preparing responses to requests related to correcting transactions carried out by companies within the Pep Group
- Preparing transfer/reposting instructions resulting from handled requests
- Marking payments for correction
- Handling the blocked cards process
- Managing chargeback and adjustment processes
- Entering corrections for transactions requiring remedial actions
- Explaining discrepancies in returned transfers from issuers and blocked payments as part of the transaction correction process
- Entering corrections for processed payment settlements within the services offered by the company, including BLIK, card payments, and transactions made via payment terminals
- Preparing team statistics and reports upon supervisor’s request
- Collaborating with other departments to clarify the circumstances of conducted transactions
- Training and supporting junior specialists
- Representing the team in internal and cross-departmental meetings and trainings as designated by the supervisor
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in the position of Transaction Monitoring Specialist/ Transaction Correction or a similar role
- Knowledge of payment organization regulations, particularly Visa/MasterCard, with a focus on transaction monitoring
- Familiarity with fraud scenarios within card transactions (POS/e-Commerce) and methods of detecting them
- Higher education, preferred fields: Law, Administration, Economics, Management, or related
- Proficiency in English at a A2+/B1 level and fluent Polish language
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Highly developed analytical skills, independence, and attention to detail
