Business & Functional Analyst

Mission Overview:

This role is for a consultancy mission at a client site through Keystone Solutions, where you will contribute to the Entry Exit System (EES) project. The position focuses on developing web services and applications that aid in the management of Schengen border controls, processing traveler data, checking against European databases, and ensuring integration with national systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for one or more functional processes in terms of analysis.
• Analyze and model business user needs.
• Define detailed functional specifications.
• Create functional requirement documents.
• Define associated tests for these phases.
• Participate in project implementation.
• Contribute to the quality of the solution.
• Act as the point of reference for the project team on functional aspects.
• Design and facilitate user training sessions.
• Conceive and model the application's functional architecture.
• Facilitate workshops for gathering user requirements.
• Conduct user interviews.
• Write user and business guides.
• Prepare and lead meetings.

Your Challenges:

• Make the digital transformation of the Police a reality by implementing various tools and technologies securely to address current and future challenges.
• Ensure the cybersecurity of our applications and environments by maintaining optimal security.
• Assist in the digitization, modernization, and deployment of secure and efficient modern systems.

Your Skills:

• Hold a degree or equivalent experience in IT.
• Be fluent in French or Dutch and willing to work in a multilingual environment (French, Dutch, English).
• Demonstrate resilience under stress.

• Maintain a client-oriented approach.
• Possess knowledge of GDPR and regulations regarding the processing of personal data in the context of exchanges between security services and administrative entities.
• Essential Technical Knowledge:
  • Functional analysis methods and techniques (UML Use Cases, UML Class Diagram, DataModel - ERD).
  • Process description methods and techniques (UML Activity Diagram or BPMN).
