As a Product Purchaser for Hydraulic Components, you are responsible for the procurement, development, and maintenance of a range of hydraulic components such as valves, pumps, cylinders, hoses, and related accessories. These components are essential for ensuring reliable machine performance, optimal energy transfer, and long-term durability. You manage your own product portfolio and handle the purchasing of hydraulic components from suppliers worldwide.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You are responsible for a product range of hydraulic components.
Becoming proficient in and a specialist of your global product range is essential.
You manage your global supplier portfolio and maintain strong relationships with them. You analyze price increases, identify opportunities, and negotiate when needed.
Leading a project across various TVH branches to globally standardize the product range doesn’t scare you. This involves the necessary data analyses and reporting.
You collaborate with multilingual colleagues from sister branches to launch new components, lead marketing campaigns, or initiate them.
You enjoy the freedom to make independent decisions and work autonomously, while always being able to rely on your team.
You manage and ensure your components are presented in a clear and organized way on our various e-commerce platforms.

Your Profile

Experience in hydraulics and technical knowledge of components (e.g. valves, pumps, cylinders) is an advantage.
Knowledge of CE regulations is a plus.
You have excellent English & Dutch skills.
You have a commercial mindset, easily make connections, and are a strong communicator.
You are proficient in Excel.
You are eager to learn and persistent.
You take initiative and thrive in an entrepreneurial setting; negotiations don’t intimidate you.
You are a true team player.
You are analytical, autonomous, project-driven, and structured.
