Strategic Sourcing Manager -EM

Job Description:

This position is responsible for sourcing of appointed external manufactory categories. This role is a key member in development and implement of strategies for MWC China through collaboration with R&D, Supply, QA and cross function teams.

What Are We Looking For?

• University Degree in business/economy, Food, supply chain subject - preferred
• >5 Years working experience in sourcing /purchasing or relevant area preferred
• Proven ability to provide build strong relationships both internally and externally
• Experience in strategic sourcing – preferred Experience with and good understanding of commodity markets - preferred

What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?

• Deliver against key measures within sourcing strategy especially value creation, delivery and quality.
• Monitor and drive supplier performance improvement across cost, supply, service and quality and ensure corrective actions in place and drive continuous supply base development & optimization.
• Lead value leadership projects through working with cross function to ensure achievement of key deliverables.
• Develop supply chain knowledge, trends and developments.
• Provide supply risk assessments and mitigation plan related to supply, cost and/or quality.
• Support business needs in innovation and sustainability project and ensure project on time launch.
• Establish and maintains relationship with key stakeholders to drive cross functional collaboration and gain support for long term category strategy development and execution.
• Drive commercial governance in line with Commercial Guide. Specifically in area of supplier selection, business allocation and contract approvals and reviews.
