Job Description For B2b Appointment Setter - Higher Education Outreach

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-volume cold calling to approximately 6,000 universities and colleges across the US
• Execute 30-second to 1-minute sales scripts to introduce services and generate interest
• Research and verify contact information for university and college decision-makers when needed
• Qualify leads through strategic questioning and needs assessment
• Handle objections, rejections, and pushbacks professionally to move prospects forward
• Secure strong commitments from prospects to attend scheduled meetings
• Maintain detailed records of all interactions and outcomes
• Work closely with management to achieve monthly goals (such as 40 qualified leads per month)

Scope:

• Target universe of approximately 6,000 colleges and universities in the United States
• Combination of lead generation research and active calling responsibilities
• Direct reporting relationship with client management team
• Performance measured against specific monthly targets for qualified appointments
• Use of client-provided dialer system and CRM tools
• 90-day probationary period with ongoing performance evaluation

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven B2B sales experience with demonstrated success in appointment setting
• Strong customer service background
• Excellent verbal communication skills and phone presence
• Ability to handle high call volumes and maintain energy throughout the day
• Experience overcoming objections and managing rejection professionally
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently while reporting to management
• Comfortable working US business hours and following US holiday schedule
• Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools
