Essential/Primary Duties:
- Design and set up electrical/mechanical tests for products, systems, and components according to specifications and standards.
- Develop, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret tests using LabVIEW, PLCs, or other methods.
- Review test protocols and write clear and concise test reports.
- Set up and operate data acquisition systems using various third-party tools and software.
- Analyze and report test data, including product performance, material performance, failure modes, correlation studies, and any other relevant metrics.
- Support product development and improvement by providing feedback and suggestions based on test results.
Secondary Duties:
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on testability and validation requirements.
- Procure and maintain test equipment and components.
- Comply with FDA and ISO standards and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Education And/Or Experience:
Associate degree in engineering technology, electronics, or a related field, or equivalent work experance. 4 years of experience in electro-mechanical testing, verification, preferably in the medical device industry.
Competency And/Or Skill:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Experience with ERP and PLM systems, such as Oracle and Agile
- Ability to analyze and interpret data using statistical methods and tools
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, circuits, devices, and systems
- Familiarity with LabVIEW, PLCs, and other test automation tools and software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and quality
