Medical Laboratory Scientist

Medical Lab Scientist at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA. This position is per-diem and will work Day shifts.

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, test result reporting, and clerical and patient care support services.  The CLS provides service in one or more sections of the laboratory with a high level of accuracy, precision and timeliness and ensures compliance with departmental and regulatory agency standards.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science.
• upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California.
• 1 year Experience in clinical laboratory in area of responsibility
• 1 year Must meet CLIA requirements for testing personnel, moderate to high complexity tests.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
