Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is seeking an experienced and people-focused IT Operations
Manager to lead and inspire our on-site IT operations team in Sunnyvale, TX. This role is
about building strong relationships, managing stakeholders, and developing talent
while ensuring reliable, responsive, and secure IT services across the facility. You will
serve as a key partner across operations, helping teams achieve their goals through
effective IT enablement, collaboration, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
People & Team Leadership
• Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing IT Operations team, fostering a
culture of accountability, continuous learning, and service excellence.
• Conduct regular performance conversations, setting clear expectations and
creating growth opportunities.
• Empower team members to take ownership of issues while providing mentorship
and escalation support.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as the primary IT partner for the Sunnyvale facilities, proactively building
trust with business leaders, manufacturing and warehouse managers, security,
facilities, and IT infrastructure and networking.
• Translate business needs into IT solutions, ensuring stakeholders feel heard and
supported.
• Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams, ensuring
alignment and transparency.
Operational & Process Leadership
• Ensure employee devices, manufacturing systems, cloud, and network
infrastructure perform reliably to support business continuity.
• Drive incident, problem, and change management processes, maintaining SLA
commitments.• Track and report on KPIs, system availability, and ticket resolution to improve
service delivery.
• Standardize processes and implement best practices aligned with enterprise IT.
Vendor & Asset Partnership
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure-quality, timely service delivery.
• Oversee IT asset lifecycle management, including procurement, inventory, and
vendor management.
Hands-On & Project Support
• Provide tier 1/2 technical support when needed, modeling a “lead by example”
approach.
• Collaborate on IT infrastructure projects, site expansions, and technology rollouts,
ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
experience (preferred).
• 5–7+ years of progressive IT experience, including 2+ years managing technical
support or operations teams.
• Strong technical background in employee experience, networking, and
infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver IT services in
fast-paced environments (e.g., warehouse, logistics, manufacturing).
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira Service Management, Microsoft 365, remote
support software, and asset management systems.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
