Job Summary

The Sr. Clinical Development Manager Ultrasound, works closely with Product Managers, Product Marketing Managers, Modality Managers, and Clinical Application Specialists and other critical roles to support all clinical activities for product marketing, direct sales support, and for new product introduction and product feedback from the US to our global Headquarters. Successful candidates will demonstrate the characteristics of authenticity and integrity that is needed to build meaningful and lasting relationships with our customers. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide and create clinical content for modality product marketing managers to support adoption and integration of key-product messaging and clinical claims into marketing materials.
  • Manage the collection of clinical images, by obtaining customer release forms, ensuring appropriate clinical descriptions, and maintaining clinical images databases.
  • Demonstrate modality capabilities at industry trade shows, in the HQ Customer Center, and during sales calls (demos0.
  • Contribute and advise on clinical aspects of marketing execution for marketing collaterals, presentation content, etc.. Actively collect and translate “voice of customer” requirements to HQ Business until and Product Development team for implementation to address North American Market requirements.
  • Define and manage the clinical related aspects of national show/reference sites.
  • Define and manage the clinical related aspects of the site visit process (Houston Customer Center and national show sites).
  • Actively participate in all site visits for system demonstrations i.e. Houston Customer Center, national shows
  • Actively participate in “hot site” escalation resolution for clinical related topics.
  • Establish global, best-practice sharing through peer-to-peer clinical marketing operations mechanisms (tcons, webx & webinars).
  • Actively execute Applications team “Train the Trainer” content creation and delivery. Contribute to modality Applications Training Summit, master’s Courses, and Global Sales Training Clinical Sessions on an as needed basis.
  • Participate in customer engagements, focus groups, user groups, advisory boards and other market-related activities to assist in the collection, definition and validation of clinical market needs and requirements.
  • Work with NPI “New Product Introduction” teams globally to ensure successful planning and execution of clinical marketing training.
  • Actively help define, execute, and support the US    strategic marketing and Go-to Market Plans
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related scientific or clinical discipline; or relevant equivalent work experience required plus
  • 8 years’ medical imaging experience in Ultrasound in a clinical setting required
  • Experience in training end users is strongly preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills and development skills with excellent ability to synthesize and explain complex issues.
  • Excellent Oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to quickly build relationships with internal team and customers.
  • Ability to travel domestically (40-50%), and occasionally international travel required
  • Experience in product marketing is preferred
  • Creative, flexible and well-organized and team oriented with the ability to motivate and work well with diverse, global and cross-functional teams.
