Group Overview

Special Air Missions Group (SAM) is responsible for developing and delivering Metrea’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Special Mobility, and Aerial Firefighting (AFF) capabilities. SAM oversees the integration of new mission systems, ensuring operational readiness across specialized aviation operations. It manages fleet maintenance, regulatory compliance, and strategic partnerships to enhance mission effectiveness. By consolidating expertise and infrastructure, SAM ensures Metrea’s airborne capabilities remain adaptable and mission-ready across dynamic operational environments.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ISR Project Analyst to support a high-visibility program within the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD). The ISR Project Analyst will play a critical role in providing project support, operational analysis, and strategic planning for ISR systems and capabilities across multiple geographic locations.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Support planning, coordination, and execution of ISR programs and projects.
  • Provide analytical support for ISR operations, assessments, and capability development.
  • Assist with program and project documentation, including schedules, reports, and briefing materials.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including program managers, engineers, financial analysts, and operational stakeholders.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and directives.
  • Support integration and alignment of ISR efforts with broader mission goals.

Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Engineering, or related).  Relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ISR operations, project management, or defense intelligence analysis.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, multi-location team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience supporting federal programs or working within a PMO.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Monday.com and other collaboration tools.
  • Experience working with DoD ISR Programs.
  • Familiarity with acquisition lifecycle and DoD project management frameworks.
  • PMP or equivalent certification (preferred).

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time exempt position with typical working hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require.  

Work Location

Hybrid (3 days in office per week) with positions in Tampa, FL, Washington, DC, and Annapolis Junction, MD.

Work Environment

This job operates in an office setting. 

Travel

Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, and collaboration with teams across the Metrea enterprise.
