About The Role

As a Human Resources Intern, you’ll support day-to-day HR operations that keep our organization running smoothly. You will serve as a primary point of contact for benefits, wellness, and policy inquiries; maintain accurate records and documentation; assist with leave management, visa/migration processes, and Occupational Health & Safety tasks; and produce HR reports. You’ll also uphold information security standards by applying access controls, safeguarding sensitive data, and supporting data recovery planning.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to internal and external HR inquiries and serve as a point of contact for benefits, wellness, and policies.
• Assist in processing vacation and leave requests and ensure accurate, up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation.
• Follow up on migration processes, including visa applications and renewals.
• Support Occupational Health & Safety workflows, including invoice approvals and committee meetings.
• Prepare HR-related reports (e.g., contracts by department) and share only with authorized recipients.
• Implement and maintain appropriate access controls; ensure secure handling of personal and sensitive employee data.
• Assist in planning and testing data recovery plans in case of loss or damage.
• Manage documentation related to terminations and layoffs.
• Comply with all corporate policies and processes.

About You

The Essentials:

• Training in Administration, Psychology, Engineering, or related fields, including technical, technological, or university programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (B1 level or higher).
• Understanding of human resources practices, employment laws, and regulations for Colombia.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides).
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed; excellent organizational skills; strong interpersonal skills, and a team player.
