We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team working on an innovative AI-powered system. This role involves developing and maintaining a sophisticated server-side application that integrates multiple AI agents, database management, and RESTful APIs to provide intelligent search and data processing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:Core Development:Design, develop, and maintain FastAPI-based REST APIs with async/await patternsImplement and optimize PostgreSQL database operations using asyncpg connection poolingBuild and integrate MCP (Model Context Protocol) server architecture for AI agent communicationDevelop LangGraph-based ReAct agents for intelligent tool orchestration and decision-makingCreate and maintain microservices architecture with proper separation of concerns
AI & Agent Integration:Implement and configure AI agents for various servicesImplement strict prompt engineering for controlled AI behavior
Database & Data Management:Design and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas for financial accounts, speaker transactions, and user dataImplement secure database operations with transaction management and connection poolingDevelop data validation and sanitization for financial transactionsCreate database migration scripts and backup strategiesOptimize database queries for performance and scalability
API Development:Build RESTful endpoints for chat functionality with conversation history managementImplement file download and viewing services for PDF generationDevelop CORS middleware and security configurationsCreate comprehensive error handling and logging systemsDesign API documentation and testing frameworks

Requirements:Programming Languages & Frameworks:Python 3.11+ with advanced async/await programmingFastAPI for high-performance web API developmentUvicorn for ASGI server deploymentPydantic for data validation and serialization
Nice to Have:Python backend development experienceStrong experience with FastAPI and async programming patternsSolid PostgreSQL database design and optimization skillsKnowledge of microservices architecture and design patternsUnderstanding of RESTful API design principles
Preferred:Experience with LangGraph or similar AI agent frameworksKnowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar AI tool protocolsKubernetes and Helm deployment experience
