Senior AIML Engineer
Reports to: Senior Engineering Manager – Data & AI

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior AIML Engineer to play a key hands-on role in the forward deployment of AI/ML solutions into Maersk's enterprise software systems. You will contribute to the successful translation of AI science / engineering into scalable production systems that leverage software systems like GCSS – Kronos / Athena, COMET – RKEM, Salesforce CRM, and SAP Finance (NFTP).

As a senior individual contributor, you will lead the design, development, and integration of AI capabilities in close collaboration with AI Scientists, AI Engineers, Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders.

Note: Hands-on experience with at least one of the following platforms is required for this role: GCSS – Kronos / Athena, COMET – RKEM, Salesforce CRM, or SAP Finance (NFTP).

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI/ML pipelines and services integrated into enterprise platforms.

Collaborate with platform engineering teams to orchestrate data ingestion, model inference, and real-time system integration.

Serve as the technical SME for one or more platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, or COMET in the AI deployment context.

Develop APIs, microservices, and real-time data processing components to connect AI with operational systems.

Ensure monitoring, logging, and observability of deployed AI models and features.

Drive proof-of-value (PoV) prototypes to production by working in short iteration cycles.

Participate in code reviews, CI/CD practices, and agile sprint ceremonies.

Qualifications
Experience: 6–9 years of experience in software engineering or applied AI/ML roles with 2–3 years deploying ML into production enterprise systems.

Deep technical understanding and hands-on experience with at least one enterprise platform: GCSS – Kronos / Athena, COMET – RKEM, Salesforce CRM, or SAP Finance.

Proven track record of AI/ML model deployment at scale.

Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and cloud-native development.

Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Familiarity with feature stores, ML observability tools, and API gateways.
