Junior Software Developer Intern

Main Responsibilities:

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies – daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives.
• Exposure on Frontend and backend coding, testing and troubleshooting for solutions based off Navitaire’s Web, Mobile App and Kiosk SDKs following Navitaire design and coding standards.
• Participate in translating designs and wireframes into high-quality app pages.
• Investigate and resolve production issues according to team guidelines and procedures.
• Functional testing to ensure high-quality output of developed solutions.
• Build functional expertise in the assigned customer project, the Navitaire Reservation System and the Navitaire Digital Platform.
• Perform technical impact analysis

Qualifications:

• Fundamental knowledge in developing applications particularly using some of the following libraries and technologies:

o    C#
o    .NET Core
o    HTML 5
o    CSS
o    Angular
o    TypeScript
o    REST API
o    NPM
o    .NET MAUI
o    Serverless functions (preferably) Azure Functions.

• Nice to have: Interest in Web related or Mobile app development
• Comfortable in working in an Agile environment that promotes active communication, feedback, and flexibility.
• Comfortable in working directly with colleagues, stakeholders, etc.
• Openness to learning new things and technology
• Strong analytical skills. Has ability to analyze and solve problems and issues effectively and quickly.
• Team player and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and multi-cultural environment.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
