About the Role Team Lead – Google Workspace:
MarketStar is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead to guide our Customer Success team in delivering exceptional post-sales experiences. This leadership role is responsible for mentoring a team of Customer Success Managers (CSMs), driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring consistent execution of customer success practices that increase Lifetime Value and reduce churn. The Team Lead will serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring alignment on goals, performance, and growth opportunities.
Location: Ogden, UT - Hybrid
What Will You Do?
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Success Managers to meet and exceed performance goals.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Align team activities with broader company goals and client success metrics.
• Monitor KPIs and customer health scores to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Oversee onboarding, activation, and enablement processes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Refine and implement scalable playbooks and processes for risk mitigation, renewals, and expansion.
• Ensure timely execution of business reviews, success plans, and ROI reporting.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex customer issues and ensure resolution.
• Champion the voice of the customer internally to influence product and service improvements.
• Drive initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
What Will You Need to Succeed?
• 3+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or related roles, with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance in a SaaS or subscription-based environment.
• Strong understanding of post-sales customer lifecycle, including onboarding, adoption, and renewal.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience using CRM and customer success platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience designing and implementing customer success strategies and playbooks.
• Familiarity with churn prevention tactics and customer health scoring.
• Background in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Understanding of ROI realization and value-based selling.

The salary for this position is $56,000.00 annually. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $4,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
