Les Mills Body Combat Instructor - Huntington Beach

The YMCA of Orange County has an immediate need for a Les Mills Body Combat Instructor. At the Huntington Beach YMCA we're passionate about helping our members live healthier, stronger lives. Our dynamic group fitness program is a cornerstone of that mission. 

Schedule:

Looking for an instructor with late afternoon availability on Mondays and Thursdays at 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging and effective classes that motivate participants of all fitness levels 
• Provide proper instruction on form, posture, and technique 
• Ensure a safe environment by monitoring participants and offering modifications as needed 
• Arrive early to prepare the studio and greet participants 
• Stay up to date with fitness trends and cycle training techniques 
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages member retention
• Other duties as assigned

• The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Qualifications:

• Current Les Mills Body Combat certification
• Prior experience teaching Body Combat 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed
