KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
• Lead the Financial Strategy for the company
• Ensure the delivery of top priority regional and local projects
• Support the Managing Director in the BU’s Strategy definition and Execution monitoring
• Maintain the finance team in a country where strong growth is planned
• Improve efficiency to take advantage of the growth and validate the scale profile of the country
• Review internal control level supported by financial controller

SCOPE OF THE POSITION
• Reporting to Bulgarian Managing Director, who reports to Regional Managing Director of Central Europe
REQUIRED SKILLS AND PROFILE
• Professional experience
• Required: At least 5 years of experience, including 3 in management position
• Relevant experience: Finance, Financial Services, Banking
• Plus: exposure to B2B, payment and technological sectors
EXPERIENCE
• Comfortable with IFRS accounting standards
• Competencies in group requirement: reporting, consolidation, budgeting, audit etc
• Ability to navigate through complex financial situations to maximize results
• Strong systems, process, and best practices experience
• A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment strong operational focus and a creative thinker
• Ability to drive digital transformation on the financial department by leveraging tools to facilitate decision making
• Ability to build team spirit and strong people management capabilities

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
• Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
• Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team
• Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and the preparation of all financial reporting and annual financial statements
• Preparation of 3 years business plan
• Cash flows management and forecast
• Advising on long-term business and financial planning
• Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
• Is accountable for the headcount, workload, costs, capabilities and working tools of the subordinated department/ team.
• Is responsible for the planning and execution of work within the subordinated department/ team within the appropriate timelines and at suitable quality standards; distributes tasks to adequate resources within the department, if required
• Defines and ensures that company’s internal processes, procedures and instructions required for fulfilling daily tasks are compliant / aligned to functional standards
• Manages the competences within subordinated department / team to ensure that resources (human and material) of the department / team fulfil business needs; ensures that personnel is properly educated, trained, experienced and (if required) certified to execute the tasks to be performed
• Ensures that working tools, instruments and equipment exist, are compliant with the applicable regulations, are in good operating condition, are distributed, used, and inventoried properly by the subordinated personnel
• Ensures that subordinated personnel are compliant with procedures, working instructions, technologies, tools and health & safety provisions
