About the Role

As our Contract Manager, you will oversee the operations of our waste management and resource recovery services across Blackwater, Tieri, and Emerald. You will be accountable for contract delivery, operational performance, and team development - ensuring safety, excellence, and a culture of inclusion. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader to shape outcomes that are good for people, communities, and the planet.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Development: Inspire and guide a diverse team, building a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Model our core values: Achieve it Together, Better Every Day, Be Authentic, and Own Your Actions.

• Operational Excellence: Manage site operations to meet performance targets, compliance standards, and customer expectations.

• Change Management: Lead initiatives that drive innovation and smooth adoption of new processes.

• Work Health & Safety: Promote physical and psychological wellbeing, embedding best practice WHS standards across all operations.

• Financial & Resource Management: Oversee budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure efficient use of resources and assets.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with corporate partners and stakeholders. Lead contract management meetings and audits, ensuring KPI compliance and exploring opportunities for collaboration.

• Customer Focus: Deliver service excellence and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

What we are looking for

You will bring:

• Proven experience managing and leading diverse teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• A collaborative, adaptive leadership style that motivates people to achieve results.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of MS Office Suite

It would also be great if you have

• Experience in the retail and/or logistics industries.
• A background in waste management or related field
