Product Compliance Specialist

STARK Group Own Brand department is a specialised team in Group Sourcing working with STARK Group’s own private label products. Within the department, the Product Compliance Team has the responsibility to make sure that the Own Brand product portfolio meets all relevant safety, legal, and quality standards internally and externally.

The Product Compliance Team is now looking for a dedicated and skilled Product Compliance Specialist to work with product safety, regulatory affairs, and process improvement. You will be part of a dedicated three-man team who support our mission to deliver best-in-class products while upholding our company’s values. The team works closely together with five graphic designers at Viby (Aarhus) and reports to the Operational Excellence Manager in Own Brand.

Your Primary Tasks

As Product Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all STARK Group´s own products and services comply with relevant industry and EU regulations and standards.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement product compliance policies and procedures to maintain high standards of operation.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential product compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to team members on product compliance-related topics and best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of product compliance activities and findings.
  • Customer Service and Assistance: Provide expert advice and assistance to customers regarding product compliance-related inquiries.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration in achieving product compliance goals.

Your Profile

You probably have a strong background in product compliance and a passion for ensuring adherence to industry and EU regulations and standards. Furthermore, you most likely have/are:

  • Previous experience from a product compliance role in the building materials or related industry.
  • Comfortable working in English and collaborating with international colleagues.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with developing and implementing product compliance policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in conducting risk assessments.
  • Well-developed communication and training/presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Collaborative mindset.
  • Higher education.
