A Brief Overview
Performs all general housekeeping tasks, according to established routines and procedures.

What you will do

• EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1. Require the ability to read, write and speak the English language and use of simple arithmetic.
• 2. Ability to interpret and understand written and oral instructions.
• 3. Hospital experience as a housekeeper is desirable, although employer may train basic skills and will train for specific procedures within the hospital.
• SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• 1. Sustained physical effort requiring continuity of effort, working with light or average weight material, equipment, etc.
• 2. Usually short cycle work requiring continuous activity or the operation of several machines or pieces of equipment.
• 3. Some reaching, pushing of carts, lifting, carrying, manipulating, stooping, and bending required.
• SPECIAL JOB HAZARDS:
• 1. Exposure to contaminated waste, isolation rooms and cleaning chemicals.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $25.76 - $34.00 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
