CX Specialist with Dutch (transport & logistics)

                                                                                                      CX Specialist with Dutch (transport & logistics)

This function concerns the full and complete handling, management and follow up of all ArcelorMittal Belgium material transport / warehouse / terminal damage and quality issues. When transport related quality issues are reported the required actions and follow up must be started. This includes registration, completing information (partners, prices, documents, incoterms, …), organising inspections, filing the claim with insurance company, loss calculation, check and launch recovery actions. The function required frequent interaction with both technical ArcelorMittal teams, insurance company and external surveyors. 

The function also has a pro-active dimension in preventive communication and pro-active actions to avoid quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing  quality issues and claims also requires a pro-active approach. From the issues and claims also pro-active actions should be drafted, supported and communicated.

Perform tasks and solve problems independently, based on experience and process knowledge. Person in charge need to take full ownership of the process and act accordingly.

Regularly communicate within the department as direct management will be working in AM Gent plant. Clear and balanced communication is essential for team mindset and efficient organisation in the team.

Handle deadlines, unexpected events or urgent interventions

The function requires a lot of communication, both internal (chartering team, internal logistics, management, purchasing) and also external with warehouses and other suppliers. Communication to be done both by phone and mail

Our Expectations:

Good level Dutch & English

Strong IT skills: proficient in MS Office with very high focus and attention to Excel in respect to the stock controls (advanced user role required), knowledge of BW/BI tools

Knowledge / interest in AI tools that could facilitate in stock checks.

Prior experiences in Transport and Logistics as a plus.

Prior experiences in Quality and claims as a plus
